Chicken Pox

So for a week I have been isolated in my home because I have the Chicken Pox!!! One word to sum up this experience: Ugh!!! I have been itching all over and my face has scabs in several areas from the pox. Right after I get a fantastic facial I get the pox and a scabby face....great. I get to go to the doctor tomorrow to hopefully get cleared so I can see civilization and oh yeah, go back to work. I must say I love spending my days on the couch but I wish I could have used my vacation time on the beach, drinking pina colada's :(

I hope everyone had a great Easter. I spent it cleaning out the garage for heavy trash day. I must say our garage looks very clean except we had to move all our junk to one side so Jay's best bud, Beau, can park his Benz when he comes down this weekend.

Next weekend is going to be a blast. We are going to Oyster Bake!!! We will be seeing Lit and Chevelle, which I only know about 4 songs total, but with Cerveza and friends it will be a great night. For those of you that are non San Antonians, we like to party for 2 full weeks for what they call FIESTA. Granted, Jay and I do not party for 2 full weeks but we do enjoy going to Oyster Bake. Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!!

Tea Bags

So, this morning I took the opportunity to mail an envelope to the White House with a tea bag in it. I am not a very political person but got the email about the "New American Tea Party" and decided to go ahead and send a tea bag. Jay did not want to send one, he said, "I just tell people how much I don't like him". After I put the letter in the mail I thought about how I didn't include my return address but only the address to the white house. My thoughts started to wander and I hope they don't think I sent a threat letter. Oops!! All I know is if no one sees me in a few weeks I might have been picked up by the FBI and questioned about my letter. I know there is going to be a tea party in Boerne on the 15th but I am not sure if we will be attending.

In memory

Today is a hard day for me. My best friend Sarah passed away 3 years ago at her home. She was beautiful inside and out and an amazing best friend.

One memory I will always cherish was on my 20th birthday I was having a hard day because my great grandmother had passed away a few days earlier. Sarah put aside all her plans and we went and ate at Texas Roadhouse. Just remembering all the wonderful memories makes me happy inside. Please keep the Hassell family in your prayers today.
